Web 2.0 tools in school - Sarina Colon

LEGITAMATE SITE:
http://www.solutionwatch.com/512/back-to-school-with-the-class-of-web-20-part-1/
I personally love this site! It has some really awesome ideas on how to use the organziers. They have a lot of them! The one I really like the most is gradefix. It orders and prioritizes your homework. How cool is that? They also have another section called gradebooks. They categorize under teachers a chalksite and engrade for teachers. The engrade for teachers is to help them with grades. I like it because it's faster and more helpful than doing it by hand. Once you start scrolling down the page, you see some other things you can check out like media sharing. This consits of things like youtube, flicker, and google video. I think this site is very imformative and you can get a lot of ideas with what they have.

PODCAST:

This one in particular deals with Real Estate. Beside the fact how you in can use web 2.0 in schools, you can use them doing your work if you are a realator too! If you browse down the web site you can see other podcasts pertaining to this feature. You can also share them on your myspace, facebook, twitter, and more. I like this one because its descripitive and it can help anyone.

For this website, it gives the basics on what web 2.0 is about. This can help grades k-12. I think that is more useful than it just pertaining to to just one grade group.

My opinion about web 2.0 tools is I think its amazing how you can do so much with it. Technology is increasing in many different ways for everyone and it fits what people like and it has different approaches on everything which I think it is great. Its fast and easy and you can access most of it through your computer.

  1. The website you found sounds really neat. I like how you said there are so many resources for teachers to use. I am sure that a website like this will come in handy when I become a teacher.
