Welcome to the Class Blog!

Welcome to the Fall 2009 EDCT 264 class blog. This is a forum for you to write informed postings on topics or issues in Distance Learning, based on the research you have been conducting. You will write informal annotated bibliographies.

Here are some suggestions:

• Make your blog postings short and readable. It is better to write two shorter posts than one long one to cover your topic.
• Give each posting a title that introduces the topic.
• Cite your sources: 1. Research article 2. web site or blog 3. podcast or video.

• Feel free to insert screen shots, pictures or even a link to the podcast or a video

• Write in complete sentences - not in texting shortcuts, but, feel free to use a more informal style than you would in a research paper.

• Comment on at least one other student's postings - the exchange is part of the fun
• Be creative - this is your forum to write an informed but informal opinion about your topic.
